25 Years

Full manufacturer product and performance warranty. 84.8% output guarantee at year 25. Covers defects, degradation beyond spec and material failures.

Inverters

10-25 Years

Standard 10-year warranty on string inverters (extendable to 15-20 years). Enphase microinverters carry 25-year warranty standard.

Batteries

10 Years

All battery brands carry minimum 10-year manufacturer warranty. Covers capacity degradation, cell failures and BMS defects.

Workmanship

MG Guarantee

MG's own installation workmanship warranty covers roof penetrations, electrical connections, mounting systems and all labour-related aspects.

24/7 Monitoring

Your system is monitored around the clock. If performance drops below expected levels, our team is alerted automatically and can diagnose issues remotely.

Annual Health Check

Complimentary annual system health check for the first 2 years. Performance review, visual inspection and optimisation recommendations.

Warranty Management

If a component fails under warranty, MG manages the entire claim process with the manufacturer. We arrange replacement, installation and testing — you do nothing.

Report Issue

Contact our support team via phone, email or through your monitoring app. Describe the issue and we'll begin assessment.

Remote Diagnosis

Our technical team reviews your system data remotely to identify the fault. Many issues can be resolved without a site visit.

Warranty Claim

If a component has failed, we lodge the warranty claim with the manufacturer and arrange replacement at no cost to you.

Resolution

Replacement component installed and tested by a SAA-accredited technician. System back to full operation with verified performance.

What's not covered.

Transparency is core to our values. Here's what falls outside standard warranty coverage.

Storm & Flood Damage

Damage caused by extreme weather events including storms, floods, hail, lightning strikes or cyclones. These are typically covered by your home insurance.

Unauthorised Modifications

Any modifications, repairs or alterations performed by non-SAA accredited technicians or without Mission Green's written approval.

Normal Degradation Within Spec

Gradual performance reduction that remains within the manufacturer's published degradation curve (e.g. panels producing above 84.8% at year 25).

Cosmetic Wear

Surface scratches, minor discolouration or cosmetic blemishes that do not affect system performance or energy output.

Non-SAA Installation

Systems not installed by SAA-accredited installers, or installations that do not comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 5033).

Grid & Utility Faults

Issues caused by grid voltage fluctuations, utility outages, power surges from the network or changes to feed-in tariff regulations.

Warranties transfer.

All Mission Green warranties transfer automatically to new property owners.

How to transfer

Simply notify us of the ownership change by emailing support@missiongreen.com.au with the new owner's details and your installation reference number. We'll update all warranty records within 5 business days — at no cost.

How quickly we resolve claims.

Most warranty claims are resolved within 14 business days.
