3Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

• SAA-accredited installers in our network (for installation purposes)
• Finance partners (Brighte, Plenti, 28Watts) if you apply for finance
• Electricity distributors and retailers (for grid connection applications)
• Government bodies (for rebate and incentive processing)
• Equipment manufacturers (for warranty registration)
• FormSubmit.co (secure form processing service used to deliver website enquiries to our team)
• GoDaddy / Host platform (website hosting and associated analytics as part of hosting infrastructure)
• Google Analytics (website usage analytics, when enabled)
• Meta Platforms (Facebook & Instagram) — for advertising measurement. Where you submit an enquiry, we may share a hashed (irreversible) version of identifiers such as your email or phone number so Meta can measure which of our ads led to genuine enquiries. We never share the content of your enquiry or your Jouli chat.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Where personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients or third-party processors, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP 8).

4Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes encrypted data transmission, secure server infrastructure and access controls.

In the event of an eligible data breach, Mission Green will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required.

5Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

• Enquiry data (name, email, phone, postcode): Retained for 24 months from the date of enquiry, then securely deleted unless you become a customer.
• Customer records (installation details, warranties): Retained for the duration of the warranty period plus 7 years, as required for warranty obligations and tax compliance.
• Website analytics data: Retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (standard GA4 retention period).
• Chat conversations (Jouli AI assistant): Session-based only; not stored on our servers after your browser session ends.

You may request early deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal obligations)

7Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses the following categories of cookies and tracking technologies:

• Essential cookies: Required for core site functionality such as navigation and form submissions. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Used by Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site, including page views, session duration and traffic sources. This data helps us improve our services.
• Host platform cookies: Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) may set cookies as part of its infrastructure for performance monitoring.
• Advertising & measurement: We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel — which loads only after you accept cookies via our consent banner — to measure advertising performance and reach relevant audiences. Separately, when you submit an enquiry we may send Meta a server-side record of that enquiry through its Conversions API, using hashed (irreversible) identifiers, so we can attribute genuine enquiries to the ads that drove them.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or via our cookie consent banner. Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

8Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with us:

1. Contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@missiongreen.com.au with details of your complaint.
2. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days.
3. We will investigate and respond within 30 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.
