Solar & battery in Victoria.
SAA-accredited solar, battery and electrification installations across Victoria. Local rebates, experienced installers and proven results in Melbourne and regional VIC.
We’ll tell you to wait — a reseller can’t.
An interstate lead-reseller is paid the moment you sign, so “buy now, buy bigger” is the only advice on the table. Because we install the system and stand behind it in Victoria, we can afford to give you the straight answer.
We’ll tell you to wait
When a smaller array, holding off on a battery, or waiting a season suits your roof, your usage and your network better, we’ll say so. It’s the same honest call our Victorian rebate and ‘is a battery worth it’ guides are built on.
See our honest guide library. We’ll tell you upfront if you don’t qualify
Victoria’s Solar Homes rebate is income-tested, and from 1 July 2026 the household income cap tightens to $150,000. Rather than lodge an application that gets knocked back, we check your eligibility for your address first — and if you don’t qualify, we say so and find the path that does.
Eligibility depends on income, property value and other Solar Victoria criteria (as at July 2026); we confirm the current rules for your situation. We publish who we said no to
Cheap operators chase every sale. An honest broker turns some away — and says so out loud. We keep a public record of the jobs we declined, because a Victorian company planning to still be here in ten years can afford to be picky and transparent.

The Victorian incentives, lined up straight.
Solar Homes, federal STCs, the battery discount and your feed-in rate all move independently. Here’s the real Victorian story — and one honest check against your exact address.
Two incentives most Victorians don’t line up
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount (delivered as STCs — around 30% off eligible batteries) sits alongside Victoria’s Solar Homes panel rebate and interest-free loan. Where the rules allow, they can apply to the same project — panels under one, battery under the other.
Indicative only. We check exactly which incentives your address and household qualify for and confirm every figure at quote against current rules. Why a battery matters more in Victoria now
Since 1 July 2025 Victorian retailers set their own solar feed-in rates — and many are now low, in some cases close to zero. That shifts the value of solar toward using your own power rather than exporting it, which is precisely why a well-sized battery can be worth more here than in export-friendly states. We size around your actual self-consumption.
Feed-in rates vary by retailer and reset each year; some still pay a voluntary rate. A design rationale, not a savings promise.A real deadline, not a sales countdown
The federal battery discount is delivered as STCs, and the rate steps down on 1 January 2027 (from 6.8 to 5.7 certificates per kWh), with further cuts roughly every six months toward 2030 — while solar STCs also taper each January. Installing before a step-down generally means a larger discount, but only you can decide if that’s worth acting on. We’ll show you the actual published schedule so the choice is yours.
Certificate values float with the STC market; we confirm the current position at quote. One honest check across every rebate
Solar Homes, federal STCs, the Cheaper Home Batteries discount, Victorian Energy Upgrades and current feed-in rates all change independently and depend on your postcode, network and household. We run one combined eligibility check for your address and give you the official source behind each number — so nothing’s guessed and nothing’s oversold.
All amounts indicative and confirmed at quote against current rules.Rebate amounts and eligibility criteria are subject to change. Verify current program terms at solar.vic.gov.au and cer.gov.au. STC values fluctuate with market conditions.

Built around Victoria's grid and its rebates
Your network, the current Victorian schemes, and the local factors that shape a Melbourne or regional system.
Depending on where you live, your solar connects to one of five Victorian distribution networks: CitiPower across central Melbourne, Powercor across Melbourne's west and much of western Victoria, Jemena across Melbourne's north west, United Energy across the south east and Mornington Peninsula, or AusNet Services across the east and much of regional Victoria. Each sets its own export limits and connection rules, so we design and apply for your grid connection around the network at your address rather than a one size template. As a Solar Victoria authorised retailer working with SAA accredited installers, we can help eligible homes access the Solar Homes solar panel rebate of up to 1,400 dollars, as at 2026 and confirmed at quote, and the Victorian Energy Upgrades program, which can provide a discount on eligible heat pump hot water upgrades.
One Victoria specific point worth knowing: the Essential Services Commission no longer sets a minimum feed in tariff, so from 1 July 2025 each retailer sets its own export rate, which cannot be below zero. That shifts more of the value to using your own solar during the day, which is why we often size a system with self consumption and a battery in mind rather than maximising export. Victoria's cooler, cloudier winters and hot summer peaks also shape panel sizing and orientation. We walk you through what genuinely fits your roof, usage and network, including when a smaller system or waiting is the better call.

Installing across Victoria — our accredited crews come to you; no local branch required.
The people who quote you are the ones who come back.
A quote is only as good as whoever answers the phone in year six. Here’s why a Victorian-registered installer is a different bet from an interstate lead-reseller.
The warranty that outlives the installer
A cheap interstate quote’s workmanship warranty covers the labour and install — until the day that company stops trading, and then it’s gone. Mission Green is a Victorian-registered business (ABN 17 659 134 577) that installs and stands behind its own work, so the crew who bolt panels to your Melbourne roof are the same people answerable for that workmanship.
See exactly what our workmanship warranty covers, and for how long, on our warranty page.Who actually drives to Bendigo in year six?
When a panel drops offline in Traralgon or a fault flags in Ballarat, an interstate lead-reseller has no reason to send anyone — they were paid the day you signed. Our accredited crews work across Gippsland, the Goldfields and the Central Highlands, so the people who quoted you are the people who come back. No franchise handoff, no ‘that’s not our area’.
We lodge against YOUR network, not a template
Melbourne’s CBD runs on CitiPower, the west on Powercor, the bayside and peninsula on United Energy — and each sets its own export limits and connection paperwork. We prepare your grid application against the network that actually serves your address, so it’s less likely to stall on a one-size-fits-all form.
Approval times and export limits are set by your DNSP and vary by site.‘Or similar’ is where the swap happens
A cheap quote often hides an ‘or similar’ clause, so the premium panel and inverter you signed for quietly become whatever’s cheapest on install day. We put the exact make and model of every panel, inverter and battery in writing before you pay a cent — a quote you can actually hold us to.
