SolarEdge. Optimised output.
DC-optimised inverter system with power optimisers on every panel. HD-Wave technology, panel-level monitoring and industry-leading efficiency for complex installations.
How SolarEdge
works.
SolarEdge is a three-part system: a power optimiser on each panel doing MPPT at panel level, so shade on one panel doesn't drag the others down, an HD-Wave inverter at 99% weighted efficiency with a 12-year standard warranty, and free panel-level cloud monitoring.
Power Optimisers
Attached to each panel, optimisers perform MPPT at panel level. Each panel operates at its individual maximum — shade on one panel doesn't drag down the others.
HD-Wave Inverter
SolarEdge's HD-Wave technology achieves 99% weighted efficiency. Compact, lightweight and virtually silent operation with 12-year standard warranty.
Monitoring Platform
Free cloud-based monitoring with panel-level visibility. Track production, consumption and savings in real time from the SolarEdge app.
SolarEdge
product range.
The range covers three parts: Home Wave single-phase inverters from 3–10kW with a 12-year warranty extendable to 25, P-series and S-series power optimisers warranted 25 years, and the Energy Bank battery — 9.7kWh of LFP storage at 94.5% round-trip efficiency with a 10-year warranty.
Home Wave
3-10kW single-phase inverters with HD-Wave technology. Compact design, built-in monitoring and EV charger ready. 12-year warranty extendable to 25.
Power Optimisers
P-series optimisers for residential, S-series for commercial. Panel-level MPPT, safety shutdown and monitoring. 25-year warranty.
Home Battery
SolarEdge Energy Bank for integrated DC-coupled storage. 9.7kWh LFP battery with 94.5% round-trip efficiency and 10-year warranty.
When to choose
SolarEdge.
SolarEdge earns its place in three situations: roofs shaded by trees, chimneys or neighbouring buildings; installs where SafeDC shutdown to 1V at the panel matters for firefighter safety; and complex roofs needing long strings or mixed panel orientations.
Shaded Roofs
Trees, chimneys or neighbouring buildings cause shading? Power optimisers ensure shaded panels don't reduce output from unshaded panels.
Safety Priority
SafeDC feature reduces panel voltage to 1V during shutdown. Essential for firefighter safety and meets the strictest electrical safety requirements.
Long Strings
Optimisers allow longer string lengths and mixed panel orientations. Design flexibility for large or complex roof configurations.

honest guides.
The comparisons and checks we'd run before recommending any battery — including when the honest answer is a different brand, or to wait.
We don’t only sell SolarEdge. So this isn’t a sales pitch.
We install SolarEdge alongside around 16 other solar and battery brands — so when we recommend it, it’s about your home and usage, not our stockroom.
We carry around 16 brands, not just SolarEdge
Mission Green fits SolarEdge alongside roughly 16 other solar and battery brands, so there’s no over-ordered stock to clear and no single-brand margin to chase. When we recommend SolarEdge, it’s because it suits your home and usage. If a cheaper or better-suited brand is the honest answer for you, we’ll say so before you pay a deposit.
Bring us your other quotes
Shortlisting SolarEdge against other brands? Good — you should. Bring your other quotes and we’ll walk them line by line: what’s genuinely different, where a rival wins, and whether any premium is justified for your home. Sometimes the honest answer is a different brand — and we’ve written the guides that say so.
One installer, whichever brand you pick
Mission Green designs, installs and commissions your system and coordinates the manufacturer warranty claim on your behalf, so you’re never bounced between the maker and a subcontractor. We’d stand behind any brand we carry just as fully — so choosing never means gambling on who turns up in year four.
MG coordinates the manufacturer warranty and handles claims on your behalf; it does not replace or extend it. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition.Accreditation, not just tone
Mission Green is a NETCC-approved and Solar Victoria authorised retailer working with SAA-accredited installers — the consumer-protection codes we’ve signed up to apply to your install whichever brand you land on.
