Solar and battery installed together: one installation, one network approval, and our package discount, itemised so you can check the saving line by line rather than take our word for it. Every one is priced at the 2026 federal battery rate — that rate steps down on 1 January 2027.

Why the three cost different but save the same. Every package runs the same 10 kW array, and all three batteries already cover a normal evening — so on a typical home the modelled bill saving is identical across them. Paying more does not buy a bigger saving, and we would rather say so than let the figures imply it.
What the extra money buys is headroom and hardware: more stored kWh for a heavy evening, an electric car, or a home that runs hard through winter; a 4 MPPT hybrid for a split or shaded roof; or Sigenergy's 5-in-1, which takes DC straight to an EV charger. If your bill is well above the figures below, the bigger batteries do pull ahead — that is exactly what we model on your own bill before you sign.

Every solar system, priced
Fully installed with a GoodWe string inverter sized to the array — 6 kW on a 6.6 kW system, 10 kW above it — plus racking, wiring, certificates and network approval. Standard install: single storey, tin roof, single phase. Prices include GST, shown after the solar incentive (STCs) we claim for you. Victoria: the $1,400 Solar Victoria rebate is not baked into these prices — it comes off on top once approved, and there is also a matching $1,400 interest-free loan, which is borrowed money you repay, not money off the price (20-second check below).
Do you qualify for the $1,400 Solar Victoria rebate?
That's $1,400 off your solar price once approved. Separately, you can take a matching $1,400 interest-free loan — that one is borrowed, not a discount: you repay it over 4 years at about $6.70 a week, so it changes what you hand over on the day, not what the system costs. Victoria only. Four questions — honest answer either way; Solar Victoria's approval is always the final word. The rebate runs on these terms until 30 June 2027; from 1 July 2027 solar support moves into the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.

Every battery, priced
Fully installed with each brand's own hybrid inverter — no hidden "BOS" or install line. Prices include GST, shown after the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount we claim for you at the point of sale. The federal discount rate steps down every six months — the current rate runs to 31 December 2026, and the one before it ended on 30 April. Today's rate is what's priced here. Blackout backup is an optional add-on below. These battery prices assume you already have solar on the roof — the federal discount applies only to a battery connected to solar, new or existing. The federal battery discount steps down on 1 January 2027 — the headline rate falls from $269 to $226 per usable kWh (bigger batteries earn tiered rates above 14 kWh, so each card below shows its own exact 2027 difference). That's not our sale ending; it's the legislated Cheaper Home Batteries schedule. The rate goes by when your system is installed, and install calendars fill through spring — the free inspection commits you to nothing, but it does get you a real date. A battery is still a good buy in 2027; it just costs more and pays back slower. Verified against the federal source — our public corrections ledger.

We install them. We just don’t publish their prices. Every system priced on this page costs the same to build in any standard home, which is the only reason we can put a number on it before we’ve seen your roof. These brands are quoted per job instead — so rather than show you a number we’d have to take back, we give you a real one on enquiry, usually the same day.

Install queues stretch in rebate season. A $149 reservation holds your place — fully refundable on request, no questions, and credited in full to your job if you go ahead. Why some states aren’t priced here
Everywhere else — quoted individually, not off this list
We service customers outside Victoria — what we don’t do is put a card price on them. Queensland and South Australia moved to individual quotes on 16 October 2026. New South Wales and the ACT have incentives that don’t reduce to a single published figure, so from 12 September 2026 they are quoted individually by the team rather than priced here. Western Australia has one of the better battery rebates in the country — $1,300 for Synergy customers, $3,800 on Horizon Power, plus a no-interest loan to $10,000. We could price that tomorrow. What we don’t have is accredited installers on the ground in WA, Tasmania or the Northern Territory, so we can’t install the system, stand behind the workmanship warranty, or turn up when something needs fixing in year four.
Our automated quoting covers Victoria — everywhere else goes to a person, who works out what you can actually claim before quoting. There is no price to show at any level of effort, so we don’t show one.
We still research and publish those states’ rebates, because the information is worth having whoever installs it — see the NSW, ACT, WA and Tasmania guides. If you’re in one of those states and want a second opinion on a quote you already have, ask us anyway — we’ll read it for free and tell you honestly what we think, even though we can’t bid for the work.
Questions people ask
Are these the actual prices I'd pay?
Yes — for a standard install these are the prices, after the incentives we claim for you. The only additions possible are the fixed site extras above, confirmed at your free inspection before you commit to anything. The same pricing engine that generates this page writes every formal proposal.
Why do prices change when I switch state?
Two honest reasons: each network operator charges a different grid-approval fee, and the federal solar incentive is zoned — Victoria's zone earns slightly fewer certificates. Victoria's own $1,400 rebate is approval-gated, so we don't bake it into any sticker — approved VIC households simply get another $1,400 off on top.
Where did GreenESS go?
We stopped offering GreenESS on 16 October 2026. If you already have one, we still look after it. Our lowest price per kWh is now the AlphaESS SMILE-M5: two 13.99 kWh modules on a 5 kW single-phase hybrid, on the Clean Energy Council’s approved battery list, so it earns the federal battery discount like everything else here. Its hybrid hosts arrays up to about 6.6 kW, and the picker caps the solar to fit.
Can I just get a quote without an inspection?
This page is the quote for a standard home — that's the point. The inspection exists to confirm nothing about your site changes it, in writing, before any money moves. That order of operations is deliberate: it's what stops the industry's classic "price went up after we signed" trick.
